Every time you click on the button, a random ophthalmology topic will be displayed below! The topics are taken from the Basic and Clinical Science Course (BCSC) textbooks published by the American Academy of Ophthalmology (2021-2022 edition), and the corresponding page numbers are provided as reference if you wish to use the BCSC to learn/review the topic. While some topics may be better suited as reference than review material, hopefully this tool will be a helpful “inspiration” for study if you’re not sure what to tackle next!

Note: since this topic list is derived from going through each individual BCSC section, there will be some topics that pop up multiple times with different references. Learning theory suggests that encountering the same subject in multiple contexts may actually help solidify knowledge better, so I’ve decided to leave the “redundant” topics as-is.
